The bed came in rolled up encased in plastic wrap. When I unwrapped the plastic the the bed had no definition what so ever at first. The next day after it had a night to unravel and regain its shape it was not so bad.my dog really seems to like it a lot. Previously he would sleep on the floor rather than sleep in his old bed with this bed he definitely prefers to sleep in it and my other dog tries to get in it as well. I could tell they really like it.
